I see a pretty phoebe
His song sounds as pretty as a flute
I watch him eat a bee
He sure is cute
He hunts for insects above the pool
While looking as lovely as a jewel
Their white tummies are so cool
If you don’t like them, then you’re a fool
He soars and perches on the gutter
With only his song and no other mutter
He hops onto an open shutter
Then flies away with a flit and flutter
